I sang "Cold Hard B*tch" by Jet one night....and rocked the house. I nailed the scream at the beginning of the song, and when I did, the whole place just got into it. Sang along with me. LOL! It was awesome. It's a great feeling when the crowd gets into it. Much has to do with the timing of when the song is sung and what the majority of the crowd enjoys. You "feel" the crowd. I've sung possum kingdom by the Toadies and Blister in the Sun by the Violent Femmes that the crowd sang along. Both times were a blast! |

I heard this dude sing "Man, I feel like a woman" by Shania Twain. The whole place was totally into it, and even sang along with him.

The Karaoke place I go to there is this guy that I believe has a Theater background who sings songs in a Frank Sinatra/Elevator music style versions of songs like Baby got Back (Sir Mix-A-lot), Girls Girls Girls (Motely Crue), and Smoking on Gin and Juice (Snoop Dog). It’s a trip to listen too. |

Check out Richard Cheese dude. He is freaking awesome. |

It took a while for me, trying many locations to find a place I realy enjoyed for Karaoke. |

I purchased a 2010 Mazda 3 i Sport with a five speed manual transmission today. I put a $9K down payment and was able to get the $500 rebate and a fixed rate 0% interest 60 month loan for the remainder of the price of the car which was $8K. I currently have crappy credit because I have purchased in cash for just about everything else and this is a great opportunity to build credit without losing money from interest. So far I am pleased with my purchase. It is a fun ride, just as I had wanted.

This past Saturday I immersed myself into the wonders of buying a new car. That night I got to sing six songs in two hours at Karaoke. I left early, because I was pretty exhausted. Needless to say I slept well that night!

Last weekend Karaoke was a bit rough. I will be working overtime Saturday, but If I go Friday night for Karaoke, it will help with being able to enjoy Saturday night better since I work an early morning shift. At least I will not be as overly excited about having a new car.

I have been singing Karaoke for a minute. Last weekend I sang Dangerous Type by the Cars for the first time and a second time this weekend. Both times I lost bloodflow to the hands for some reason, well they tingled a bit. Guess I really like singing that song. None of the other songs I sing have that affect on me.

I WISH I had the courage to sing in front of people, alcohol doesn't help either because I know what I sound like when I've been drinking

I've never done karaoke. I don't plan on changing that anytime soon, either.

I WISH I had the courage to sing in front of people, alcohol doesn't help either because I know what I sound like when I've been drinking I wish I had the courage to flirt! Flirting is over-rated, I respect a guy a lot more that can just strike up a conversation. |
