Topic: P90X workout log

Hey everyone, I'm starting P90X(again) today. I figured I'd create a topic to help me stay committed lol. Today is going to be day number 1

Chest&Back is the DVD for today.
My starting weight is 252

I plan on checking back in and keeping this updated(something to keep me on track) also if any of you are doing this program or any other program feel free to use this thread as your workout log as well.

Day 1 Chest back and Ab ripper x completed....forgot how tired this makes you!

Now shower time lol.

I have been so tempted to try it.....but....then....no. Good for you though. Congrats on completing day 1.

I've done it once before, never finished it, but stuck with it for 30days...ended up dropping 25lbs that time...then I had to have shoulder surgery so that set me back a bit lol. It's actually really good...the AB workout is painful but a good kind of pain lol. Hopefully day one will be day 100 before I know it...i get out of the navy in December and go back to college would like to go back in the shape I was when I first went lol.

I hear women have good results with it as well, as long as you don't have bad knees or anything, some of the exercises are higher impact.

I can't do some of the exercises because of my shoulder, but they have people using resistance bands...so i'm doing that instead of pull-ups. that way I can modify it so I don't hurt my shoulder any worse.

Of course chicks can handle it. They give you modifications for stuff you can't do right away. It's not like you have to be able to do everything right away, you just do as much as you can until you get stronger.

almost didn't want to do it today, but I completed day 2, plyometrics...the DVD I absolutely love to hate......it kills you, and I know tomorrow I won't hardly be able to walk...but only 88 days left, lol.

hey another guy on here posted a thread because he just started doing P90X too. Maybe you guys can help keep each other motivated and keep us updated on your progress.

yeah it doesn't seem like he posts that often, so I decided to make my own topiclaugh

Just completed day 3, Shoulders/arms, and abs.....

My abs were already on fire from day 1 still...hopefully this helps...otherwise I guess until I get used to it, I'll have to get use to being sorelaugh

ummm.....yeah....i just noticed that. good for you. do heat pads help loosen your abs???

alright, today was Yoga, definitely not as flexible/strong as I once waslaugh it is supposed to be an hour and a half....well I made it a full 30minutesohwell now I know what I have to definetely work on more! but at least I got 30mins in! now time for a shower!

Today was legs/back/abs...I actually made it through the entire workout!....granted I couldn't even keep up with the chicks on there...but I made it through!laugh

Today was kenpo x wow, talk about dripping sweatilllaugh good golly miss molly!

I couldn't find my dvd, but knew my neighbor had it so borrowed hers tonight...I refuse to give up for any reason...I WILL be in GREAT shape by Christmas....when I go home to see my family..I want them asking "What in the world have you been doing!"

Yesterday was rest or stretch day...I chose to rest...

Now start of the second week, Just finished Chest/Back/Abs...
Starting weight this week 246...down 6lbs in one week!:banana:

plyometrics again today...kept up with them more so than the first week...but still far from keeping up totally lol. but important thing is I finished it!

Shoulders/Arms and was supposed to be abs as well...i finished the Shoulders/arms routine, then went and took a shower...forgetting that I had an abs routine to do..ohwell guess I'll squeeze an extra abs routine somewhere in this week:smile:
