Glad to have found this forum!
I actually just completed my first week last night with Kenpo X, and I'm looking forward to a good stretch tonight!
My legs are sooooo sore from Legs & Back! I gotta say though, my favorite work outs are Chest & Back, and Plyometrics. Yoga is such a discipline, but it's so long and slow that I get anxious... which of coarse defeats the purpose of Yoga. The other hard thing about Yoga is that I had no idea what the terminology was so I kept having to look up to the screen in order to see what was going on, so it was hard to keep focus on my body and even to keep balance at times.
Anyway, good luck all! Keep it up!

it'll get easier, I started earlier this year, did 3weeks then stopped due to unrelated injury.

I started again in June, I am on my 6th week now.

Stick with it, I am sure you'll have a great result.

I've been curious about P90X... What kind of work-out is it? Are they all body-weight exercises, or does it come with resistance bands? Weights? And most importantly - cost?

All I've ever seen about it is an advertisement on the side of my browser.. I've been going to gyms for about 2 years now - have had amazing results, but I want to step it up to the next level. Any pro-anti P90X?

Stick with what works for you, P90x is somewhat of an extreme type of work out, it's not just weight lifting, there is yoga, cardio, plyometrics, Abs workout... the idea is to keep shocking your body and not allowing it to get used to the excise which optimizes results.
P90x doesn’t come with any weights or bands, you need to purchase them separately, I prefer using dumbbells over bands.

Hello all, I'm new to the site and wish I would have joined earlier after seeing this forum. However it looks like folks have stopped giving updates. So I will give mine.

I'm nearing the end of week 7 and the results are amazing. I've gone from 210 to 185lbs and size 36 to a loose 32. I'm finally starting to see muscles instead of fat, whooohoo. I love it. I highly doubt that I will be able to see my abs by the end of the 90 days but I do plan on continuing until I can. Ab ripper is a killer but I am up to 20 instead of 25 for each exercise. I should be pretty close to the 25 by the end of 90 days.

Anyone else still working out or what?

You know I finished P90x and the last 2-3 weeks is where you see the biggest growth and progress, so whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP, especially halfway through it...you just won't see a fraction of the results.

Also, after I finished P90X I started and finished Insanity. That will get you so ripped after you finish P90X, but just a word of caution...it is brutal...it makes P90 look like Richard Simmons

Oh I don't plan on giving up, the results have been too good so far. For the time being I will stick with this program for a second round.

Plyrometics and Yoga already kick my butt enough much the less considering another program thats more intense...lol. Maybe after I can complete Plyrometics without having to take breaks to finish.

Are you really doing this Myka? Is it working. I watch the info mercials and it looks like you have to order a lot of side equipment, in addition to the program. the bars and everything. Good luck to you if you are. I am sure you will get the results you want. I'l stick to the kickboxing 3-4 times a week. Thats an ab-make-over for sure.
