If all you're going to do is be a cynic about love and complain about the opposite sex, why come to a dating site to do so? Seems a bit self serving to me...

Do you really think the opposite sex is going to be attracted to someone who complains about them all the time? It's like shooting yourself in the foot before starting a marathon.... brilliant eh? slaphead

Why is it that a realist is always considered a cynic?

ah, but if you can finish the marathon despite the hole in your foot isn't there something to be said for that?

i personally came here in the hopes of finding a woman for me, but there are a minuscule number of females from my area on this site. so, i just find the topics that grab my attention and i throw in my $.02.

I'm a whiner, I just put that medal proudly on my jacket. What are you gonna do about it?

I know of these people. Their posts annoy me as well.

Oh wow, I am calm don't worry kiddos! I've been here a long time and most of my posts are of the light hearted variety. I do consider myself a realist, but in my real world I don't run around complaining about everything. Just seems ridiculous to me that people come to a dating site to whine about why they can't get a date.

If you whiners want to keep whining go ahead by all means, but don't expect anyone to be attracted to it.

i stopped whining a while ago. there are many reason why i can't get a date. some are my fault and some are not. i do believe that if i lived in closer proximity to some of the ladies on here that i would have less difficulty in the dating realm.

location, location, location.

and i really just can't get enough of your new pic.

For the records, I don't reveal everything I do regarding dating etc.. my personal life in details. Obviously if i would be in a relationship I wouldn't be here, but that doesn't mean that I didn't have dates at all and I never met anyone. Usually when I whine, I'm not doing it to attract anyone at those moments, just saying something staying a bit anonymous (it's easier that way) and see what the women will say. Usually when I whine, that means I just "almost" had someone or perhaps went on a date not long ago and she turned out to be a dud. It's also more for the drama and for the sake of argument with someone. People love drama and affairs and stuff like that better than if I talk about how many megahertz my computer is.

Maybe you shouldn't assume what people want to hear, just be yourself and you will attract someone who likes what you like.

I think it's setup the wrong way , ever heard of the program CPU-Z? According to that, I'm supposed to be going a lot faster than I'm going but since I don't play any games on it and so on, and mingle 2 is not a role playing game like Oblivion (although you might notice similarities even the title and the characters) I'm just fine running the usual crap on it the way it is and why bother around with jumpers and the multiplying factor regarding the front side bus speed and my memory setup, right?

As demonstrated by the reaction to this post, people are not as understanding as we would like to believe. There is an awful lot of teasing and joking that goes on here and sometimes things like that do not translate well when written.

Correct, there is absolutely no reason to set up a machine for high performance if you're not going to use it for such. I got a new laptop not too long ago and it's just a standard set up, nothing special about it cheapy for $500. My iMac on the other hand is where I run all my programs and store everything so I put a lot more into that one.

Yes I am the kind of nerd that has 2 computers LOL

I have 4. I usually give them away to relatives friends etc when it gathers up on me. and one taken apart behind me for a year now, I haven't bought a computer in a very long time now. Always just parts. It's one of my jobs to fix computers for people who are usually using their CD tray as a soda cup holder.
