Hiya back, been awhile

Yeah! How was you vacation away from mingle?

I've missed Mingle - nice to be done with the students for awhile! Whoo hoo!

I know a few teachers around here, they can't wait until the vacation starts.

I look and run alot, but thats because they say something like they love hiking and dancing, and I have a artificial leg, or they say no smokers, and I smoke, or they want someone for marriage, and I got nuthin to offer there. I'd just like to find someone, who would like to go riding once in a while, and be friends. Dennis

I do the same, but it's usually because they live so far away from me... though I've been known to send an email anyway...

I have made some great friends that way...some male friends that I would call if I were ever in their town. So, it doesn't just have to be a "romantic" connection.

id agree with you..considering thats how i feel too...just because they look doesnt mean anything.
its when they actually email that it counts.

btw,why are you complaining?...youve got friends here,your topics and people actually answer your posts.?

I was here for over a year and got exactly THREE views.

Fishing seems to come to mind.

I usually just send them a message and say hi if I notice them noticing me and I like what I see. 18 out of 20 don't responde, 1 out 20 may give a "pity" response. 20 out of 20 read the message, or atleast it gets marked as read.

I have been thinking the same thing..

Out of 20 people 1 of them will possibly sent me a message... I didn't think I was think intimidating. I just like put it out there and you can either take it or leave it..

Not that "gorgeous" and "dude" comments got me very far now, did it? LOL and it's you who have a profile picture with a woman in it now..how is that for being a hypocrite? And just what is your problem with me anyway, I noticed how tightly you criticize anything I post.

You know, don't think that I didn't email a bunch of people and my usual emails aren't 2 words....but usually spend about 20 minutes writing each.

I also had months that I had zero views, regardless of how much I posted or what I changed..it didn't matter. Not to mention the "lookers" are - I have to say - don't mean a damn thing.

My replies? Sometimes I get 1 or 2 (out of 10 emails sent out) but that's like "good luck to you" or "wish I lived closer" or "you shouldn't be single".. and then that's it. If i follow up on it, most of the time I get a silence or a similar repeat of the same old "you will find someone" and similar comments.

I'll just perve ya, Atlantis, since we aren't closer.

LOL.. well..you are in Colorado! Of course I don't mean it..when most of my repliers are from Texas, Colorado and California. The closest person here where I could actually drive to date would be Newarkjw, but even he is at about 3hrs away with 2 bridge tolls and the jerse turnpike plus a killer NYC traffic, and even if those aren't an obstacle, there is a major killer problem that he is a guy! And the last time I checked I'm still straight so there is my luck!
