Islam says to beat your wife and kill the infidel .

Jesus Christ said, honor your wife, Love Your Enemies and Do good to them that Hate you.

Just sayin'

I would like to ask all the women who defend Islama question.

If they came to you and told you, you must accept their beliefs, dress as commanded and accept your place in their world or die.

Would you give in and convert?

accept or adopt? two different things,, I already accept their beliefs,, as their beliefs

many different sects of Islam just like there are in Christianity

I would not disown God for anyone,,,but otherwise, I would have to be better educated on what their beliefs actually are( I dont care about dress), to make that determination

Only 315,322,000 Muslims in the Middle east and North Africa.I think it's safe to say the majority of them hate America,Christians and the Jews.315 million is not a minority! It's more than the entire population of the United states.

why do you think its safe to say that.. on what do you base such an assumption about THAT Many people?

All I can say is that the US fought many wars to stop genocide, to defend our way of life. uphold the Constitution, and Bill of Rights. To condemn a whole people as haters Of the US just seems ridiculous. Besides, the mosques in the US do not propel terrorism or give finances to it. What you say remains unfounded.....I can not tell you how I know, but I know.

I wonder if I will ever see the day when the religious actually do what they teach.slaphead

Nope, because religion is the greatest lie ever told...
Religion causes separation, judgment, hatred, rejection and fear.

A nice park with trees and rides for the kids..that's what should go there..no religious buildings at all. No temple, no church, no mosque!

After a bit of searching;

According to the 4th SEAL in the book of REVELATIONS and THE BOOK OF EZEKIEL chapters 38 and 39 they, Muslims, are the chosen ones for ultimate destruction.

All offspring of ishmael and essau will be annihilated because of their hatred of ISRAEL and their ABOMINATIONS towards ISRAEL.

If they do not like what is being said – then repent you murderers before you are utterly destroyed. Your eternity is in your hands. Y

ou believe in god – which one, the moon god and the idol rock in mecca? or YAHWEY the CREATOR, SOVEREIGN of THE UNIVERSE? Y

You creatures claim to be from ABRAHAM – if you creatures were from ABRAHAM you would do the WORKS that ABRAHAM did.

You prove other wise by following a deceiver mohammad who had constant TEMPER TANTRUMS.

When he did not get his way he got mad and killed people or made some other manipulative lie up in the hadith and practiced pedophilia, adultery by stealing other mens wifes, lied and broke treaties and mercilessly slaughtered others.

GALATIANS 6:7 if this is the end you want -you will receive it. YAHWEY will JUDGE RIGHTEOUSLY. repent while you can. you will not receive 72 virgins but possibly 72 DEMONS of torment for your rejection of the TRUTH and following Lucifer.

Not all muslims are extremists and I believe those that think so are narrow minded pinheads.

On the other hand, I'm not sure that the plans to build a mosque at ground zero sits well with me. It just seems to me that other countries never seem to hesitate to try and slap America in the face every chance they get and this just seems like someone is trying to pour salt in the wound.

Even if we do allow this to be built, no one else will think we are more forgiving, we've done plenty of forgiving in the past and it doesn't seem to change the hatred / envy that other people harbor for us.

Considering that we have Muslims who are American citizens, who by the way have had a hard time since 9/11, we are not just catering to the world, it is for healing here at home too.

So I guess American Muslims arn't dangerous. Anwar al-Awlaki ring a bell at all? whoa

There's more non-Muslim Americans that are dangerous then there are dangerous American Muslims.

interesting that the main fact that this isn't an actual mosque it's an innerfaith center to bring together all religions. Please report all the facts and not just cherry pick for your racist agenda.

I agree. How about just a memorial for the ones who died and lost loved ones.

Clash between religions is what brought down those towers. Fundamentalism in all religions are the cancer of this planet.

It is the great divider even though Bush tried to take the role away from them.

Or perhaps people might even stop insisting how ridiculous it is to worship a supposedly non existent God, while insisting that its totally reasonable and even patriotic to 'pay respects' to places where people die or are buried,,,

they are gone people, paying respects and all those traditions are nice,, but they really are more to appease the egos of the living than anything else,,,

please dont take that offensively,, I have buried loved ones before too,,,but I dont expect them or their 'spirit' to be so easily offended by what DATES I remember or 'visit' them

Those who lost their lives deserve respect just for the mere fact that they were life..still are just with a totally different perspective than we all have. So showing them respect doesn't have to be about any god, or patriotism.....

A nice park, some tress, swings....just sounds like a better option. A bit of nature in their concrete jungle could help people, most feel better. Another fight over who's religion should fill this space is just asinine.

It's a spit in the eye of all the victims, and those who suffered both physically and psychologically , that a religious dogma building - regardless of which religion- should be built there. Places where massive amount of people lost their lives and loved ones, due to terrorism and hatred should never associated with one or another religion. Bury your lost members in a cemetery according to your beliefs but a public place where all sorts of people from all kinds of religions has lost their lives should not be a religiously oriented memorial.

I can agree with this.

I guess with it being an interfaith center is a bit better than it being one or the other.

Where is the park for all the faceless children who never grew up because of child abuse? Where is the national cemetary for all the first responders who have lost their lives helping others when they weren't even on duty?

Do not mistake respect for martyrdom and do not belittle those closest to the victims by steeling their grief or seeking to be a part of it. Respect is best offered in consolation and when possible, to lessen the loss of others by relieving some burden it has caused. Grief is not relieved by memorializing a thing or a place related to the occurance of a tragedy.

The place can become anything - that will not change what it was and history will record the names and locations and recount the events. Media, testimonies, documentaries - those are the memorials reflecting tragedy and bravery.

Scenery changes, people move - even cemetaries crumbel in time, are forgotten and are even moved. Let it move on and let history keep the memory.

(unless you live Texas - then you might want to read history from outside the school district)
