Craigslist. I have in the past month tried running an ad on craigslist and im beginning to wonder seriously if any REAL people really go on there that are serious. In the past month I have gotten so many responses back that all they wanted me to do was click on thier link inorder to get me to subscribe to something stupid. I have not yet gotten ANY responses by REAL women that wanted to REALLY meet. I think its really a big joke. Has there been anybody else taht has tried Craigslist for anything? and, if so. What was your out come?

Lemme understand this: You put an ad on Craigslist looking for ... WOMEN ... ? Is THAT what you're sayin' here ... ? When did Craigslist become a DATING site ... ? I mean, there's always the possibility it could be taken as that if we really stretch the definition, but hey ... it's Craigslist. "Hey Joe - you got gum? Me give you Numbah One Boom-Boom! Me ruv you RONG time ... " ...

Hummmmmmmmmm the only thing I have used Craigslist for is to buy stuff. And have gotten some really good deals as well...

As far as dating no way not for me I'm not even going there for that heck not really here for that but if it happens so be it.....

They do have a personals section. mfw, wfm, mfm, and so on and so on

Yah they do but most use it for one night stands only for sex and full of scammers as well..........

They do not even moderate the boards that is why they are in the jam they are in and all over the news.....

But now when buying stuff sshsh I have paid like 1/3 of the cost of what it would have cost me brand new and in perfect condition.... So well worth using it to buy furniture etc from.....

It's the 'and so on' part that'll get ya in trouble ...

Well thats true. I have bought A car off it once. And it tirned out to be a good car. But. For finding some one. Stinks

"Why not run an ad for a single lady with nice good condition car for sale or willing to trade"!

I know, I know...I'm good that way (with ideas)!

I tried yo put a singles ad on there but, couldn't find the WWWWMWWWW section!

I answered an ad on CL about three years ago. He was the first person that I met online. We dated for five months. He got serious but I didn't feel the same way about him. We're still friends. He had told me that he had received quite a few questionable replies. He also had received quite a few serious replies.

I had also met two other people from CL. There were no connections on my end. I later found one of them on Mingle. lol

Or, was your ad the OTHER one that said, "I can make you money and make me money at the same time. Must be young, friendly towards strangers (for an hour), be able to stand on the corner in high heels for hours, and give me 80% of the take."

Cool. So. Some times cl works for personal ads. Wish i had that kinda luck
