What are some of your favorite things..the things that
really make you feel great, happy and content?


I love sunny days when I can go hike the mountains and sit
at the top and breath, get tuned in with nature.

I love it when all 3 of my boys are happy at the same time,
there is a feeling of peace in that.

I love sitting on the beach and listening and smelling
the ocean.

I love a great comedy movie when your laughing so hard
the whole time your face and gut hurt after wards.

...........kids playing.....my granddaughter laughing telling me she loves me........seeing my kids smile knowing they are both doing good and things are looking up for each one of them..... seeing when others have learned to move on and watch them smile once again or at least hear it in their words........... Basically when I see others that are happy it always makes me smile within.........

The ocean is one of my favorite things as well. So looking forward to a week at the beach next month.

Music can always put me in a good mood.

Hanging out with my kitties.

Weekends like this one where I got to spend time with friends and family.

yep Kristi...seeing people move past heartache, regroup and move on with their life. That's always nice to see. hopefully a lesson has been learned and growth has come.

And Emily...music is the universal language indeed!

I like being in the middle of a mountain lake in my kayak.

It's then that I truly am one with myself.

Oh great!!! Now I'm gonna have that song in my head all night!

I really enjoy seeing others fulfill their dreams,
even though I haven't....yet.
This may sound silly, but whenever I watch the clips
of Susan Boyle and Paul Potts on Britain's Got Talent,
I squirt a tear.
I think it's so awesome that both of them..
him selling cell phones and having no confidence
and her at 47, taking care of her sick mother and no
job got to get up there and sing.
They both always wanted to do that and were given
the chance and look at them now.
I think those type of stories give us all hope to
not give up on our dreams.
Those sort of things make me happy....

Sun shining through the blinds on a saturday...the smell of a grill burning...kids laughing by the pool...and me busting a nu

walking the beach and collecting agates
and going to my fav antique store its called rocking horse
they sell miniture items dollhouse and antique items its a cool place to go


spending time with my kids and grandkids
and enjoy watching my grandson draw... hes very talented when it comes to art

Hearing my daughter say, "good morning Mom, I love you!" first thing in the morning; driving down the highway with the windows down and my hair blowing in the breeze; the sound of my daughter laughing; just as the street lights/signs come on in town as the sun is going down; the smell of rain in the air & so much more...

These are a few of my favorite things...

Music...I cannot function without it.

Driving with my best friend.

When it's warm at night and I get to walk home from work rocking out to random headphone tunage.

Kisses from my nieces and nephews.

Joking around with my dad, the crazy old man.

Canadian beer.

Men.

(It got real simple towards the end )

Phone calls/texts/emails from people I enjoy talking to.

The chance to sit down and talk face to face with people I enjoy being with.

Wine.

Pepsi.

Ibuprofen.

A good book.

A rainy day.

oh for heavens sake..whatcha doin, walkin around the house singing it???

talking on the phone with family, gardening and the results, the beach also!, a day of relaxing, rain and thunderstorms (so rare), a good book or movie, seeing something good happening for someone, walking in nature with no human sounds, clouds, my dog Jack, theres more but not now...
