Now here is the biggest secret of all. If you are wondering what your "purpose" is in this life, I will tell you. It is to find something to do that makes you happy. That is your ultimate and only purpose. Happiness is your purpose. Be happy. That is your purpose. It is so very simple. Yet most people don't have a clue how to be happy or know how to pursue happiness. I agree, yes our ultimate purpose is to experience happiness...even bliss! Yes bliss is it!

Yet most people don't have a clue how to be happy or know how to pursue happiness. but, I am a Gemini...EVERYTHNG makes me happy...I am into ponding, gardening, sculpting, painting, mold making, salt dough crafting,croceting,etc etc etc...I jump from one thing to another and can't seem to enjoy anything for too long....i get bored. You are a splintered personality and you have many interests. You should nurture all of them and you will be happy.

People waste their lives looking for happiness. If I just had this, I'd be happy. If I could just pass this class, I'd be happy. If I could only find true love, I'd be happy. If I could reach nirvana, I'd be happy. And on and on. They forget to breath. They forget what it's like to taste a really good apple. They are so focused on finding happiness they forget to live. Life is to live. Happiness is a byproduct. great point,, I think happiness is a byproduct of fulfilling your purpose(whatever that might be) to learn? to teach? to contribute? to help? to love?.....we all have different purposes IMHO ,but they all fit together for the good of the whole,,

Actually it is Born, Breed, Die. It is what we do in between that gives life meaning. It either that or God really wanted to eff with us!

I have to agree with some of the others here the ultimate goal is achieving being happy with where and whom you are and learning to enjoying life no matter how much one has or how little..... material things do not make you happy.... so true

Well i may not like my job, but it got me my house & soon little hot rod fix up & my home fix up. So im livivn' my life i guess.. least for this time being..
