Topic: Moving out of state? | |
---|---|
you could try to line a job up in advance.
if you have some desirable skills then you could try to get some interviews scheduled in advance, make a short trip and have it set up before you move... even if it is not your dream job, it could work out on an interim basis or turn into something better. |

Yeah, it'd be worth a shot. I have looked online for some jobs, but there really wasn't much online.

All I can say is if your that gun hoe to move out of state there is always a way to save up to do so. Your single get a second job use all of that money to put up in a nest egg when you get enough saved move. In the mean time decide where you want to go check out the rent ect... and start putting in applications online for jobs prior to moving.
Where there is a will there is a way............no will no way....... ![]() |

I am looking at the jobs available online where I want to move though. They have a lot more available now. |

Lets see if we just say average 6 days and average pay is for 10 hours a day... That would be 60 hours a week with 20 of that in overtime. At least according to what you said. Now if you are not able to save making what you make then the only solution is to look at what your spending pay off what bills you can and watch what you spend then you should have the money you need to move.... just saying ![]() For you could be living above your means in order to move. One has to learn to give and take on the items they want in order to do other things at times... Hey knocking out cigarettes if one smokes or even soda's going out to eat at times will save more money then one even realizes. Put that money back and it is amazing how fast that nest egg will increase... |

I want to move out of state, but I don't know where to start. I have an idea on where I want to move, but I'm not sure how to do it. I mean, should I save up some money (which is impossible) and get a place where I want to move to and file for unemployment until I find a job? If I have to save up money, I will never be able to leave. How have you done it? What's the best and quickest way to go about this? Any suggestions? Job transfer is not an option. Buy a used motorhome or travel trailer then go where you want to ![]() |

Job transfer is not an option. my technique is research areas I wish to live, research employment opportunities, find out what skills are required and attain them, THEN apply for positions in that area and THEN move unless I had dependable family to stay with , I would never just up and move without first securing an income to survive on..but then I have children to think about if I were on my own, I could move anywhere and survive off of minimum wage until I found something better(Im pretty low maintenance that way) |

I just noticed a job opening for pretty much what I'm doing now! I'm going to call them tomorrow before work and see what happens.
