For those who don't know me I have a need for speed ..


After my last sweet ride .. Mazda RX8 which winds out to 60 in 2nd, just cuz it's a rotary engine, ie no pistons/cylinders to worry about

I switched to a Beamer .. not quite as 'fun' to drive but of course impeccable engineering (best luxury car outta Europe) and class from front to rear .. and kicks a** from the line



Sooooooooooooo ....

I had Blizzaks LM60s on for winter, cuz you go nowhere except your garage in a rear wheel car on snow .. yep yep ..

BUT ..

had to switch them out for Summer Max Performance Tires ..

I got the most amazing (especially for the $$) tires that have dozens of reviews by track drivers of BMW, Vettes & Mazdas ..

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tires .. research a lot .. these were rated by Car & Driver as 2nd only to Michelin PS2's

It's the Hankook Ventus v12 evo K110 ...



Sticky tires .. holds the corners goin 140 .. never hydroplanes becuz of the design ..



CAN I TELL YOU I AM PSYCHED !!!!!!!!

Hummmmmmmmmm wellllllllllllllll......I can't compete with the fast rides at all. Have never been into the fast lane when in a vehicle.....

Sooooooooo guess some would say I have a granny car but to me it is sweet............went from driving pickup's for over 20 years then decided after I sold my horses I wanted a car again so here is my slow sweet ride........

Well see .. everyone has to find their ride of choice and enjoy!! We rented one of yours a couple years ago as a 2nd vehicle for vacation but it couldn't keep up with my RX8.





I think my need for speed is related more to the POWER of the engine .. I like to jump off the line

Best place for me to see the other cars on the road .. is in my rearview mirror

Fade - Been thinking of getting an RX-8 but couldn't find anyone that had owned one? Any problems with it? If so, any problems getting someone to work on that rotary engine?

Let me know...I'm still trying to decide on what I want...

Lol yeah myself I like the PT Cruisers not fast but fast enough to sport me a few tickets with it

LOVED my car. ONLY problem was it had a recall issue with the engine in certain years.

But this car is sweeeeeeeeet and never a day went by that I didn't get a compliment or comment on it. Seriously.

I literally passed my road test this morning so I'm new to cruising solo, but I love every second of it

Actually I bought mine as a demo. The kids loved it until they got sick of having to climb in. It's only a 2 door.
