This is the only site for me...It's run very well, keeps the trash out and makes it fun to be here........And come on now, the wimmins on here are the bomb diggity

There are a lot of sites out there. In my opinion, this one is not only the best, it's also the only one worth being on.

A lot of sites don't even have forums, so you put up a profile and you're done.

The ones that do have forums, well, those forums are about as user-friendly as a porcupine in the underwear drawer. You can't find anything because the subjects aren't really arranged in any order, and half of the posts are just people swearing at each other anyway.

I know of one site where, right now, there's an ongoing series of threads over the fact that one member e-mailed another and made a marginally tasteless joke -- in a private e-mail now! -- and they've been sniping at each other for months in the forums about this. I mean, who cares?

I know of another site where, despite the fact that I get 10-12 messages a day there, I have NEVER received one that wasn't from a scammer/spammer. Reporting them accomplishes nothing.

Mingle2 ACTIVELY hunts down scammer/spammers and deals with them quickly. Our forums are laid out for ease of use.

And the people here are just better people than I've run into anywhere else.

I wouldn't try to dissuade anyone from trying other sites; I would just point out that, if you're expecting then to be anywhere near as good as this one, I think you'll be sorely disappointed.

I use Mingle2 the most. I like it.

It's one drawback is excessive censorship on the forums.

I don't mean the vulgarity or attacking type.

There is one I use that allows controversial issues to ride.
