Honestly,, if someone were to make their sexuality a part of their introduction (whether straight or gay) I would probably steer clear of them. I am open to friendships with good people and whatever they do in their sexual relationships and private affairs is their business and not going to affect a friendship in progress.

I do have gender based standards though, where behaviors are concerned.

I probably would not mix well with a very submissive or passive male and I probably would not mix well with a very agressive or loud female.

The men I know have no problems with it, and it can get downright funny when everyone is goofing around over it. It's not a big deal and to those men who have problems with it, I really don't associate with them after awhile.

I'm str8 and have had gay friends all my life. No problems here.

i have gay girlfriends and dont judge them but for what they are inside.. and lovely peeps they are!!..they dig me too for who i am.. although tease me and tell me they are gonna turn me... and in the other breath since they are so beautiful on the outside as well tell me how men email them and think they can change them lol!!! roflmao! and yes i give them crap right back!! my owner on pets game in tagged is one hot momma!! in and out!!! if only i was gay!!!more beautiful than any model for sure!! and wow her insides as beautiful as her outsides...

I was out on a camping trip, and was highly amused at being fought over by a straight guy and a gay woman. They were drunk, and we were all having a good time.

One of the companies who stay here, there's two guys who generally share a room. The one really goofs it up, eventhought they're both straight. The other guy is always rolling his eyes, threatening to sick his wife on the funny one.

i probably wouldn't. i have a hard enough time getting women. i don't need competition from the gay guys as well. for some reason women love gay guys. at least that's been my observation.

My best friend when I was an undergrad in music school was gay (and Bulgarian), so yes I would be friends with a gay guy if he was genuine.
