I've often wondered the same thing, who the heck just sits on a toilet? What if there's a spider or errant droplets of ew? I mean seriously, look before you sit and there will be no surprises.

I think in ones own home (particularly for those middle of the night visits) many of us just have an expectation that the toilet is 'ready to use'. WE know from repetition where it is and we just go there and sit. I know I am guilty as charged. As I am the one who cleans the bathroom, I rarely feel the need to inspect the toilet before I use it anymore than I need to inspect the sink before I run the water. I do think this is a trival thing though and couples who are arguing over it, probably have deeper issues.

A gentlemen is just that a man who is gentle with the feelings, emotions, wants, needs, and desires of the person he has chosen to share himself with. He takes the time to truly get to know a woman, and do his best, with his limited understanding, to touch her heart and soul. He lifts her up and lets her fly. He does all the little things instead of just talking about them. In short, he truly cares about people, and focuses on making others feel special. Of coarse everyone has the basic stereotype that gentlemen opens doors and buys dinner, but it goes much deeper than that. A gentlemen treats others with the respect he would like to be afforded, and that is the very quality that makes us special. Honesty, compassion and understanding. Thats what makes a gentleman a gentleman in my opinion. Theres alot more to it, its a whole belief system that makes a man who he is, and there is a whole different one that makes him gentle. I wont go on as i am coming to understanding that noone believes me anyway. But its still fun to talk about.
