the longer it takes for the person to get back at you for something that (s)he perceived was done wrong to him/her by you...the more dangerous that person is

case in point -- made fun a girl..she got back at me immediately by unloading pepper in my drink...not too dangerous...cause/effect was almost simultaneous so i understood what i did wrong and made the necessary correction so i wouldn't do it again

case in point 2 -- made fun of a guy...he got back at me by setting me up with a girl...which turned out to be a guy...this whole thing was orchestrated over several months....all based on one joke where his feelings were hurt...needless to say, he's still my friend, but with caution..

moral of the story -- people piss each other off every day..in most cases, its brushed off, but in certain few, the person that is pissed on lets it marinate, and fester, and he/she seethes inside...and even though it may just have been a slight mist, they are infuriated and will get back at you 10 fold until you drown in urine...know who these people are and be very cautious with them..

I think everybody in this story needs a good dose of The Golden Rule.

Karma; pay backs; not being nice to each other in general: it's all a waste of time and causes such negativity.

It’s childish, mean-spirited antics dipped in drama.

Don't be mean and mean won't be you.

I've been guilty in the past of being wronged by someone, more than just a simple insult though, and waiting until they probably forgot they did anything to me, and that's when I struck back. They would never think,"was it that guy I ripped off months back?" Of course they weren't friends, just was connected somehow because they were a neighbor of a friend of mine, etc.
I've put that behind me though, acting like that, and just let it go. Why keep the drama of the situation going? Too many other things to worry about now at my older age, heh.

I used to be like that!! Strike when they least expected it & as long as I knew that's all I needed to get even!! Not like that now tho!!

Hummmmmmmmm I have not actually got back at them all by my doing Karma is a wonderful thing I hummm did help Karma along and gave it a nudge a time or two. But it was nothing that was not going to happen anyway. I just helped others with some info that was true to speedup the process.... Hey they asked me for the info and well I had to tell them the truth..........
