My brother's funeral is tomorrow, I don't know how I am going to get
through it. Have made it through this week with all the planning and
preparation, helping his ex-partner/best friend, she has been a basket
case, and have helped her as best I can, but I am so not looking forward
to tomorrow. He was only 55, 1 year and 19 days younger than me. I
have to take dad. I don't know how to do this.

marie i truly am sorry for this pain but on a positive note think of the
many splendid places he could be at. death is a really hard subject to
deal with especially when it is someone so close to you, all i can say
is that you have to let it out and which ever way that comes will be the
best for you. think about fun memories of him and laugh, think about the
lives he changed, think about him... cry laugh, smile, be sad you have
every right to do all of those.

Marie...my heart is with you...very young...My mother was only 52...and
not sure how I got through it...but you will...your in my
prayers

i work at a cemetary and see mourning families all the time just keep on
thinking of the good times and talk to your family holding emoion in won
help the healing process just let it out and talk cry whatever
helps.losing loved one is never easy.my

Thank you all, he was a big man, 6'6" about 350 pounds, and spent a good
part of his life bartending, logging whatever. He had long hair, beard
and a mustache. He took pride in a local TV program, "Evening Magazine"
voting him "The Ugliest Bartender in Snohomish County" many years ago.
He was a gentle giant and helped anyone and everyone, had a huge heart.
His nickname was "Moose." No one knew him by his real name.

My heart goes out to you girl. Wish there were magic words I could say
to make things easier. But only God knows why it was time for him to go.
For now God has gained another Angel to be beside him. Your brother has
been called for the highest honor there is and that is to be one of
God's Angels. Always remember the good times ya had shared. It takes
time but things will get easier. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Peace be with you and may God give you the strength to make it through
tomorrow and give you peace within.
