the mayor of Washington Park, Illinois was found shot dead in his car. police say Mayor John Thornton was leaving his second job when he stopped his car for an unknown reasion and allowed another person into the car. that person shot the mayor at close range killing him. the car went off the road and crashed into a tree. the shooter was picked up by a get-away car and is still at large. two other suspects are being intarogated at this time. the exact motive for the attack is unknown at this time. some have stated that it may have been a robbery gone bad. however it is still too early in the investigation to rule out any possibile motive including terrorism. for more information see http://www.kmov.com/news/local/Mayor-of-Washington-Park-found-shot-to-death-89678082.html

Have you even READ any of my posts?? Or do you just pick certain ones?? I rarely mention EITHER party in most of my posts. Are you going to try to tell me that, with the current news cycle decrying " violence " against Democrats ( while basically ignoring the fact that a Republican representative's office was SHOT AT ), my question wasn't valid?

KInda funny everything gets looked at as possible terrorism... Its replaced the devil as a more logical everthing bad must be caused by this scapegoat .... uh oh i must be a terrorist for feeling like that ... or maybe a commie but i think that went out of style Poor guy mightve picked up the wrong hitchhiker.. coulda gotten killed for being a good man by some random shitface.. Its a shame and well never know what happened even if the news or police find theyre "reason" to put on the news to make everyone feel better well still never know... You gotta feel for him and his family one day well all join him anytime anywhere.. So dont live for the future live love laugh NOW.. and tell a coouple people how you feel about them... (unless you dislike them then hush)

We barely get half to vote in the major elections. We the people stopped working for ourselves in our government. That is what happened.

LOL!! Yeah..sometimes it's a bit of a shock... But..then again...there are a lot of cases where I don't think our opinions are really all that far apart. That is okay, you are still alright by me even when we disagree Thank you. I feel the same.

As for the mayor, it is sad that he was killed like that. I would not attempt to ASSUME that it was a drug deal or anything else. I don't know the man. It is a terrible thing.
