So feel free to say how bored you are but you should try to include why! Given that if you are bored you should be doing something else....

Ok I am bored because it is to late to work meaningfully on my manuscript.

I didn't call my supposed new job today because he (boss) was to call early in week, will call tomorrow.... so still don't know that I have a job and that just drags me down, kinda equals boredom at this hour.

Because we are not having enough fun here on Mingle!!!!

You've got to get behind the scenes to have fun sometimes on Mingle!! I've been chatting with my best bud all evening!!!

I am not even slightly bored.

I'm talking to a couple of friends on my team website....cruising around here....and tapping away at my book since I can actually GET somewhere again.

I'm not bored at all. I'm reading a pretty good book (Baldacci) and stopped to take a break and let my myopic eyes refocus and thought I would pop in here to see whats up

It's just a Fantasy novel that I am doing in a way that's a little ' out of the norm ' for that genre.

Fantasy readers are either gonna love it, or hate it...lol

I can just say that keeping the reader straight is very difficult with this story type of writing...god knows the last thing I want is to loose my reader!!

That's one of the things that you'll definitely have to watch for. Especially if, along with the multiple time lines, there are a lot of characters.

I have about 55-60 UNEDITED pages so far, single line spaced, and about 7-9 main characters which is getting to be to many this early on....

Sounds good. It can be hard to keep so many characters straight. It helps if you write a short bio about each of them, and keep it handy, so you don't get confused. I've been known to change a name partway through, because I forgot who I was writing about.laugh

I got about 500 words from the point where I got stuck.

Not a whole lot of progress, but better than it just sitting there. LOL

I was having a real problem with the " ritual " involved in the scene. Everything I came up with seemed like it would be short changing the scene because I ( in my own humble opinion ) think it's a VERY good scene. I wanted to make sure I didn't screw it up by doing something completely cheesy.
