How many pages have you written so far JAG? Since the last time I read it, I mean? What was the last chapter I sent you?? |

I am not even slightly bored. I'm talking to a couple of friends on my team website....cruising around here....and tapping away at my book since I can actually GET somewhere again. How many pages? 
I got about 500 words from the point where I got stuck. Not a whole lot of progress, but better than it just sitting there. LOL I was having a real problem with the " ritual " involved in the scene. Everything I came up with seemed like it would be short changing the scene because I ( in my own humble opinion ) think it's a VERY good scene. I wanted to make sure I didn't screw it up by doing something completely cheesy. It's good you're writing. I can't get anywhere with mine either. I need 20 pages to have 300, yet I do nothing. Grr.... |

That would be 41 I think. I don't have much more than that done. I got stuck in that cave as they were starting the ritual for the transfer of magic.
I finally figured out a way to do it without it being too awful. I'll send you some more after the weekend. I have a four day weekend and I am definitely gonna sit down and get some more work done. |

I didn't realize, when I started the scene ( and this is what I get for not planning things out a bit ) how difficult it would be to get the magic transferred without doing something " typical ". |

Sweet. I'd say I'm going to try to write this weekend, but I probably won't.
And I'm getting my cable back tomorrow, so I'll be back in tv mode again. I can't wait!!!!

LOL!!! At the very least, I would suggest at least opening the file or notebook or whatever you write in, and take a look at it. You never know when something might strike you. |

I'm annoyed with myself, because I have a pretty idea of what I want to happen, I just need to write it down. I keep meaning to just write the scene and try to figure out how to work it in. That's how I wrote lots of it, took 3 short stories and put them together and they fit.
I'll try to remember to check it out, I need to finish something before I die....

Well, she's the sensitive type, she'd never kill a character. She'd think she was "helping" the character by letting her live....
Wouldn't it be ironic if I finished it, found a publisher, made a fortune and then proceeded to kick my own azz for procrastinating?
