hours you have spent playing on a site...this one or that one..doesn't matter???? In a single day.

I spend most of my waking hours on a computer. It is my trade. Plus I don't have cable..........

ok.my ongest is 14 hrs....possibly more..

I was really adddicted...

I even borrowed my friends laptop when i went out of town...

If I went somewere and there was no net hook up, I would pace for about 15 min. wondering what the hell am I going to do now.

Then I'd get over it....

or

I'd call friends back home..give them my password and have them tel me evrything.

It has taken me 5 yrs to kick the habit....not of being on for hrs but freeking that I couldn't be on..

Anyone else ever have that problem...

There's plenty of ways, you just have to work hard at it.

If I am having a really bad flare of arthritis I can camp on the computer for almost 20 hours. It helps distracts me from the most accute pain and I can dose a little when the pain meds help take edge off even if I can't really sleep soundly.

Then when it is really hot it helps keep me indoors during the hottest part of the day.

When I am doing Hospice care it is a quiet pass time and is a huge help in all the documentation and co-ordination of services and people. Just wish I could find a smaller more portable scanner/printer to use with my laptop. Why someone has not come up with a scanner that works on the under side of a lap top mystifies me. Someday?

I can't say I miss it when I don't use the computer however. Usually when I am off line very many days someone comes looking for me lol.

when I first started MBing on AS, I spent the bigger part of a 12 shift on it. the next day the company blocked all dating sites ...but as you can see the block is no longer working

If you have a cable connection for your computer, you could run the cable that's hooked up to your pc into the tv first, and then split it off to your pc, and then you'd have it..

You wouldn't have a box, but most tvs and remotes are programmable. It'd be worth a shot to try it out, right ?

As for the OP's question.. I have a really comfy livingroom chair at my pc. I often fall asleep in it for a few hours at a time.. I think I spent 3 whole days on the net when I got my pc hooked up back in January.

back in the day, I played a LOT of everquest.... did a 36 hour session one time (non-stop).... oh, those were the days!!

Wow. When we first started the Calm Chaos BOINC Team site...I spent around 16 hours there one day working with the webmaster trying to get the look and feel that we wanted.

Then for leisure I cruise the forums. And on nights
I can't sleep, mmm, I would have to answer, 24 hours.
