The old metal desk is outside the door. The scrap metal man said he will come back as soon as the ground dries up. He and another associate hauled off one large truck load with a loaded trailer behind it and a another truck load. Then they hauled off the old car I used to drive that just cost too much to fix up. I used to think that being a pack rat was a good thing because my granny did it. Then I was watching American Pickers with a male CNA at work. On the show they had this term called "hoarding". The young male CNA said that the problem with hoarding is that the stuff just stays there and when the hoarder passes away the hoarder's inheritors probably will just sell what the hoarder thought were treasures. It is especially true around here with antique vehicles that you will see along the road where I live. The people who have these old junkers will just let them rust rather then fix them or sell them.
