that when a woman talks about things such as politics, culture, science, law, etc. it is perceived as talking about their feelings, whereas when a man talks about his feelings they are perceived as talking about politics, culture, science, law, etc.?

women can think analytically. Women talking about feelings are generally pretty clear about it when they are.

While it can get emotional, when I talk politics, culture, law, etc, it has nothing to do with my feelings. Other then if it peeves me off. But considering the amount of men I've seen literally froth at the mouth over it, especially politics, it's emotions in general that are involved.

Women are very capable of using the left side of the brain when it comes to talking about issues. MOF, have seen some men on here that whine or are so misinformed, rigid that wonder the same q about the them.

When I talk about anything

ya pretty much get where I'm coming from...

I'm very capable of holding a discussion without my "girlie" feelings coming into play!

Just sayin:heart:

Strange, I haven't thought about that stereotype recently... probably used to no doubt... nowadays I don't think much about the "meat-sack" that the words are comin' from... listen to the heart, mind etc... mebbe I'm just gettin' old?laugh

When I talk, I think I joke around so much, no-one hears what I say.

Or they're shocked by what I said. Im pretty blunt!

Listening to a woman express her views is a way to determine where she's at to anyone with an iota of cognizance.
