Believe what you will. THIS will become your reality soon enough:

" ... There will be no loyalty, except loyalty towards the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Big Brother. There will be no laughter, except the laugh of triumph over a defeated enemy. There will be no art, no literature, no science. When we are omnipotent we shall have no more need of science. There will be no distinction between beauty and ugliness. There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always - do not forget this, Winston - always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - for ever." ... "

You. Are. Now. RULED.

heard it all before my friend, when people opposed mandatory drivers insurance and seat belt laws,, I survived that and will survive this,, just fine

'my friend' ... ? Ummmm ... that's a stretch. Wouldn't 'Comrade' be more fitting in this, the 'Glorious New Day Celebrating the Victory of the Communist Party of the United States Over the Peasants'?

I'm on disability, and have been for years. The insurance is Medicare and have chose a HMO. It's pretty darn good. No md copay- specialist-30$ and hospital 150.$ rxes are 2.50-7.00 a script. It costs 90.$ a month but because low income, don't have to pay. I get to choose the mds they have and if they don't have one want to go to can appeal it and go to them. I don't see what all the crying is about, it's govt run and has been for years. Medicaid and medicare are extremely good programs for people with children born disabled or if one becomes before 21. Medicare helps seniors get the care they need...altho the rxs can be hindered, you have to appeal and sometimes it goes through. I'm not making assumptions here, have worked with medicaid recipients, with disabilty..every so often they call you in to make sure you are still eligible by several hours of testing, md reports, etc. Sometimes you have to be on the other end of the coin to know how things go. Alot of talk, mostly from people who have no direct experience just dreaming up nightmares perhaps?

Still can't let go of the past, can ya ... ? In case you haven't noticed, Bush is not in power now. 'The ONE' OWNS the problems that HE and his sycophantic psychopathic suckups have created. The correct abbreviation for 'em is 'PWND' ...

That makes it even worse....now you HAVE TO BUY a product a private industry sells!!! Or be Fined....

That's not true either. If you have insurance already, you don't have to do either one of those things.

If you have it already you are already buying it so yes that it TRUE!!!

THIS BILL MANDATES THAT EVERYONE BUY HEALTH INSURANCE. It will be ruled unconstitutional.

\

It could be, or it could pass due to the commerce clause as the drivers insurance laws did...

Not one and the same....government doesn't mandate that you own a car - therefore having to buy insurance.

government doesnt mandate that you own a car, but it does mandate health providers care for you in an EMERGENCY, thus mandating purchasing insurace to cover the costs..

noway don't understand that one....constitution has to apply in all cases. If you can refuse health care, one should be able to refuse health insurance.
