Topic: THE AGE PROBLEM | |
---|---|
The problem with trying to be with someone younger than you is that they're usually immature as hell. And unless you're willing to put up with that ********, I don't see how it's worth it. LA, I so agree. You read my mind. I am 43 and personally try to date either someone my age or a few years older. Makes a WORLD of difference. Thank you. |

I dunno all guys have their moments of acting like they are 12 regardless of their actual age In my own personal opinion, age IS more than just a number. I agree with some of the posters here that I wouldn't want to date someone who could be my son, nor do I want to date anyone more than 2-3 years older than myself. But it isn't MY opinion that matters--it's yours. Do what's right for you! |

Okay, I'll be brutally honest here. I used to live with the love of my life, Marilyn. She was born in 1942, I was born in 1969. We met and fell in love in 1990. I didn't care how old she was, she didn't care how young I was, we were both consenting adults, we got along great, and we really didn't care what anyone else said. It was perfect for us. We lived for each other and that's all that mattered. I lost her in May of 2004 from a heart attack, I will always love her, and I cherished every moment we were together. So to me, age really doesn't make that much of a difference to me. Personality does. Love the one you're with.

I put myself on the cross. I don't care anymore how other people may judge me. I will always be honest and open, no matter what the cost. He died for me, I die for Him. I will always be humble and blessed, but I am a sinner. I always have been, I always will be. |

I'm so sorry, but it is nice to know that someone had that type of relationship and knew that kind of love, if for too short a time. Don't see it much in those around me...have never had it myself. Very fortunate you are. Just one of the reasons I'd be reluctant to date a younger man...the years creep up so quickly now. |

Im 31 and my boyfriend is 48,and I couldnt be happier, hes amazing age is only a number It is, and the older we get, the more we start to realize that. It's not about age, it's about personality and coexistence. If you can live peacefully/romantically with another, then it doesn't matter how many years you have apart from the other person. |

Whatever works. Not my business who anyone dates, as long as they're not trying to date me.
