if I lose more weight....I will blow away. It's in my genes . . . you'd be surprised. I love baggy clothes because they are comfortable But being on the other side of this isn't all it's cracked up to be either |

Drew....from the picture I have seen of you, I think you look great. thanks, but i've put on 25# since. and the i do a good job of disguising the extra weight. according the things i've read, for my height my ideal weight is around 175#. the only time i've been close was fresh out of basic training. and that's an all day every day workout. maintaining that body in the real world is nearly impossible for me. but i do think that if i was 225# that i'd be satisfied. . . . |

Weight games are a pain in the arse. I put on in the winter when I'm not outside working, and take it back off again. Argh!

I am one of those people who fought their weight all my life, was always gaining and losing the same 10 - 30 pounds. When my husband was deemed terminal I began a drastic and very rapid weight lose ultimately going from my highest ever at 179 to a dangerous low of 113 in under four months. At 113 I was 3 pounds away from being hospitalized for malnutrition.
Over four years later I struggle to maintain between 120-123 which is still a bit to skinny for my height and bone structure but after a life time of being over weight I prefer thin to fat. I feel better, have more energy and am more self confident. I guess after having been to (somewhat) both extremes I can say that being to far either way can lead to both mental and physical health problems. My advice, if you are not happy with your body, work to change it with sensible eating habits and exercise. As a society we put way to much emphasis on our bodies, the goal should be to feel good in your own skin! |
