The guy's a whacko, but you'd have to be a whacko to be an atheist. At least he's a Christian, so I won't fault him for that. But he really needs to read the Gospel again. He's not getting it. But I have faith that one day he will.

I think the topic label is HILARIOUS,, I havent even watched the video...lol

It does seem like believers and non believers go through this tit for tat debate style to 'disprove' or 'discredit' or 'belittle' each other ,,,,I think this title is a perfect and hilarious example....

This would be funny, if it wasn't so true. I was very sad, for humanity, while watching that video, because I've personally met so many people whose beliefs and thoughts are as poorly examined as those represented in the video.

yeah, cause believing in an unprovable bronze age mythos that's caused more pain and suffering than any other thing in history is so much more sane...

whether its fundamentalists or anti-christians

it's still people who think they know best how other people should live and trying to force them to live their lives according to their own beliefs.

not much difference between them that I can see

Who's "anti-christian"? All most of us atheist want is for the christians to stop THEIR crusade into OUR lives telling US how to live. Prayer in school, choice on reproduction, science (evolution), civil rights to marry who they love...THESE are only some of the things the christians are trying to use government to impose on the masses for THEIR ways. Some christians do not respect the Constitution.

Don't see the difference then maybe you're being blinded by "the light".

Check and mate...

I dont think most christians no longer 'crusade' and there are indeed anti christians who are extremely bigoted against religion or christianity. As far as the 'right' to marry who you love. That has never been a right actually. For example, if you love a child, an animal,, your brother or sister,,,you still cant marry them. ...

there have always been legal guidelines chosen by culture and society where marriage is concerned,, love not being a part of them

I usually don't bother with these constant-tripe types but to see one pick one area to defend christianity in then turn the meaning by insinuating that gay marraige is like pedophilia or beastality shows a total lack of intelligence or understanding of simple realities.

It's these types of "christians" who give the sane and rational Christians a bad name.

I didnt mention gay marriage,, I actually pointed out how marrying who you 'love' is not a right and that love has very little to do with legal guidelines for marriage...

Opps left out how you also equated gay marriage to incest...but that's it, that's all you get of me,..and I'd rather you avoid my posts actually, they tend to get dumbed down with tripe.

love has little to do with legal guidelines of marriage,, if that is offensive, it is not my goal,, but it is the TRUTH

What I don't understand is why athiest claim not to have a belief in anything than they try to 'convert' others to the face that their belief(or lack thereof) is the right way. I don't beleive in werewolves but I'm not going to sit and argue with someone who does beleive in them as to why i'm right and they are wrong...they could be right...but i CHOOSE not to beleive it...

Ahtiesm is just another form of faith imho

I agree, its faith that something is not real(although PROVING something unreal is alot trickier)

Actually PROVING on either side cannot be absolute it takes FAITH on BOTH sides...But I'd rather believe(it's not much asked of us) and if I'm proved i'm wrong in the end...no harm no foul. But if I chose not to believe than I am proved wrong in the end...well I'd rather not take that chance.

If the bible had "warewolves" instead of "devil" then people'd believe in them instead...and "atheism" is a word that is easily found in any dictionary.

amen, i have the same problem. Hard to find a good God fearing woman in my age group. The 20 year old women that i've found are all into partying, drugs, sex, and that form of activity.
