I'm just glad I was able to pick her up and get her something warm to drink.

I am as well. It would be wrong for Adults to invite a child and then uninvite her which is the impression I am now getting. I misunderstood that possibly it was only the BOYFRIENDS version of what his parents had actually agreed to. As to the teenage girls, I also have three (14.16.19)who are baby cousins biologically, but are like my own in how often they are with me and my teen son.

Men have ALWAYS looked at young girls, that isnt a new phenomenon, and they can handle themself, in a group, but I would not have them out on their own(except the nineteen year old, who is in college and working full time ). Adults who invite a child over should secure ahead of time the plans for arrival and departure and the transportation, its also a good idea for the parents of the child going to do the same.
