i remember the colors...it was all halloweeny like it is now. JSH was halloweeny because when they went went the halloween type background,people were griping and trying to get them to go with the one JSH had  remember when they had both jsh and mingle up and running for a little bit and you could go on both? ~ woo hoo! and they didn't have all these wonderful competitor's ads.  I think you are thinking of Oneplusyou. That was between JSH and Mingle She was right  both jsh and mingle were running at the same time. It took a little bit to get use to the change over, but now it's no big deal like a lot of people thought it would be. Some wonted to keep it like if this site was going to be one big click and keep it the way they wanted it to be I remember the voting too, it was a little out of hand. I also remember you could edit your post anytime. People would type something and later come back to delet it thinking they were being sneaky. It didn't work knowing you can use the quote

I remember more people causing drama. I enjoy the people who are around now. And those who aren't around that I like chatting with, I still keep in touch with. Things are fine here now.

I remember how small the forum was, and even back then when I first joined this site before it changed over. The forurm was always active. There were no mods you could type the word **** and it wasn't blocked like it is now. So chit works people were puting up nude pic's at times and using them on the forum. That didn't usually last long and not a sight to see, but it did happen I remember suggesting in the feed back form to put the new members forum up. If I recall right, it was within two days and they did it. Txsgal teased me about that one I remember how a few people left this site because it was growing and they didn't want to deal with the change. The funny thing about it, It hasn't changed. Just a few new things were added. There are a few other things I remember, but that's another story. So what do you remember about this site before it changed over to mingle2? The people, I guess a few of us stuck around...but tons more left not too long after the transition. |

Hummmmmmm I have been here for a long time many memories here. Some good some bad.... I have seen the changes, the harsh words, the hate, friendship being made, as well as when love has blossomed as well as failed. Then those that found each other through this site that was married and even had kids.
I have seen the heartache of loosing a child, ones devastated from finding out they had cancer, friends, relatives passing on, to those sent to War, and I have seen many prayers, well wishes and good thoughts sent to them regardless if they were religious or not. Yes I have seen many come together no matter what their beliefs to lend a helping hand. I have seen this site grow and change as well as the members within it. Sure there are many like me that has hung around. Some may think we are die hards ect. Regardless if we are still here even with all the changes this place is still the same and still goes through spurts of growth, at times many will leave as well as many more new ones joining. At times people leave for all different reasons this is life at times we are only somewhere for only a little while till it is time for our journey to continue. Embrace the friends you have made and welcome the changes again. They are not saying good bye but.... so long..............  It's like changing of a season. There is always a reason. You see it is so. People come and people go. Some think it is a crime. For others to leave, it was just their time. Some just enjoy to come here and read. While others take time to post within a thread. Even though those in the past had to part. There were a few that left footprints across your heart. Within these threads there are many you call your friend. Just because they leave does not mean the friendships have to end.  Sorry got a tad carried away here back to my corner hehehe.... |

I joined when it was still JSH, I didn't post in the forums much back then. I think I might go back to doing that....gradually.

Someone mentioned the color scheme. You can customize your forum font colors. This will not change the appearance of the headers, but you can change the text color. On the forum settings page at the bottom of the page, you can select the color. One thing i will mention here, (and the instruction is not very clear) But when you see the color bar, click that, and a drop down menu will appear. You can get just about any color you want. This will not change your posting color, just the appearance of the community page. For me, i chose the old JSH blue.. i couldn't take all that red text.

 There was a lot of people on the boards and we could laugh and joke and track a run-away hamster all the way to the llamas...and threaten it with colored duct tape, caulk or a dinosaur tape dispenser....cabana boy searches.... Among other things.... Just for the record, Tapey is alive and well and currently standing on a bookshelf! JSH holds a lot of great memories, but nothing will ever replace that one week where they turned it into a banjo auction site.... |

i also remember when van and mike talked in the forums
and the pic kristi had on her page forever... was not her but her main pic... dont even know if she had a real pic back then for a while
