I see no reason, barring major injuries, why it should not be the Yankees and the Phillies in the World Series again.
Let the talking and Yankee hating commence.

They already have several excellent young position players as well as a few more on the way. I'm really curious to see the ascent of their young pitching. All these years of futility have not been without reward. The future is bright. Fact is, I intend to take in a game or two at Camden Yards this year. It is too bad they are in the same division as Boston and NY. i bet if they were in the central or west they'd win 85 games this year. |

The Sox are taking it all this year.
Okay, so I say that every year. But really. We've improved defensely, and now sport an infield stacked with talent. We've got three top starters and two pretty solid ones behind them. The bullpen's decent. The bats are all there. Sox will be in it without a doubt. And popping champagne bottles in October!  Ya heard it hear first.
