Of course....I am disabled. It would be wrong for me to judge someone because they can judge me too

Dis-ability brings about great changes in a persons mentality and perception from my experience. I wouldn't change what it taught me for the world. I'd be less of a person had I not gone through the experience.

I think so many people are emotionally disabled these days scarred from bad relationships, trust issues, or just unable too let love in, that a physical disability would be an easy thing too handle if the person has a good heart and the ability too offer you what you need why should it matter.
love doesn,t come from perfection x

she would rather spend all of her money on partying and booze than anything worth a darn.

Yeah I know the type, the first of the month rolls around and they would rather spend their money on booze and/or drugs than doing what's right. Sounds like you handled it right though. If she would have cared about the relationship then she would have got her act together.

Too true, and true sad ... but it is actually on the 3rd for Disability Cheques!

Which means, at midnight tonight via the direct deposit ...

... Then the liquor flows, the drugs are imbibed, the lies begin and 'Good Time Charlies' are all baaaaaaack!

Only, there really isn't a good time; it is tragic!

Then the repetitious cycle of running out of funds at the speed of light, hitting the wall ... and the nightmare continues ...

Would you date people with a disability.

i have a disabilty
i have had problems with my kidneys for the last 27yrs they think longer and i have been on dialysis for 5yrs
my kidney issue is related to my birthdefect called lawerence beild syndrome it effects each person in a differnt way but it does cause issues with the kidneys..i have found it some what hard for others to approach me for there not sure how to handle my health issue. but im a human just like anyone else

i dated a man awhile back that was in a semi accedent about 8-9yrs ago and several yrs later it left his mobilty to walk and talk
he was a great guy but i felt emotionally he couldnt support his own self as i knew he couldnt emotionally support me.

my daughter dad is half blind i had no problem dating him or any other man with a disabilty. its just they need to be able to emotionally support themselves

it would probably depend on whether or not they defined themselves by their disability and how much positiveness they were able to maintain.

i doubt i'd be able to date someone who constantly felt sorry for themselves and/or consistently complained about how unfair it all was.

Anyone with kindness and integrity should be viable as a relationship material, imho!

We are ALL 'different~abled', it is quality of character that should matter!

Yes, I agree. The times spent alone, in solitude and quiet are one of the plus sides of a disability. You have time to think, where most don't. Time to meditate, read, see things the world rushes by. Although what caused it is hardship, there would be no exchange for me neither.
