Liberals are upset because Obama didn't shut down Guantánamo or stop the wiretapping program or end all wars or support gay marriage and kill Don't Ask Don't Tell. Conservatives are pissed off because they hate health-care reform, family planning, ending any war at all, organic gardening at the White House, and government in general.

What's worse, both sides are so angry and righteous that they can't even begin to give credit where it is due. When was the last time you heard a conservative cheer about that $288 billion tax cut? Or credit Obama for the centrism it took to appoint McChrystal, Panetta, and Gates? And how many liberals choose to be understanding about the practical difficulties of shutting down Guantánamo, achieving equal rights for gays, or tapping Al Qaeda's phones?

And where, on either side, can you find a scrap of humility about the staggeringly complex challenge of Afghanistan and Pakistan? Or a scrap of gratitude at having escaped global financial doom?

So the question, a year since we elected him, isn't how much Obama has accomplished. The question is why we've turned so small and mean that we only see half of it — the half we happen to agree with.

Obama made promises he could not keep. he spoke like he had power to do what takes Congress to do. He came off like a strong leader when in fact he is letting Congress do what they want. His first actions in the presidency was to reward (bail out) the same people who caused this economic mess we suffer from. Worst still is most of his programs are hollow wastes of money.

Obama comes from the same crowd that believes in spending uncontrollably because spending money will fix everything. He also appointed the same people who led the Fed to the decisions that made our economy collapse. He also believes in raising MORE taxes on us when we are taxed to death. On top of that he attacks the rich meaning anybody below the top 5% and above the middle middle class.

Obama has done nothing but inflame the situation. Has he ordered congress to get a grip on their spending? NO. Has he ended Pork Barrel politics? NO. Have the Entitlements and subsidies ended? NO. Has he even tried to lower taxes? NOT AT ALL.

On top of that Obama spends far too much time apologizing and also trying to negotiate with our enemies when we need to be kicking more ***. He is inflaming the situation in the Middle East. Worst was a lot of his actions are Bush like in every way, shape, and form. He is a career liar. On top of that he acted like he was Black when he really is a mulatto. Colon Powel is black, Condoleza Rice is black. Obama is about as black as me. He lies about everything. On top of that he is a social elitist and a socialist. For all of our education and here we are with a bunch of poor as#holes wanting to suckle at the government teat feeding off of hand outs and government welfare.

It has been a long time we had ANY president truly worth respecting. I think the worst part of his presidency is that he also wants to negotiate with groups like the Taliban and Al-Quieda. Let me put it in terms I sure hope the more simple minded can understand, Groups like the Taliban and Al-Quieda are exactly like the Borg out of Star Trek. You can not negotiate with them. They either assimilate you or destroy you. The only thing these groups understand is violence and in the light of this we need to double our efforts in eliminating and hunting them down like the disease they are. Not toss kisses and daisies at them.

Man kind is not that evolved and Obama epitomizes the worst of our country to a lot of people and I feel they are justified in their beliefs. Most of us have to live in the nightmare these jerks create. Hell, I am supposed to give up prosperity I earned to someone who didn't do squat to earn anything? America is responsible to save all third world countries from themselves? NOT! And yet here is Obama tossing money to every disaster that comes along anywhere. Haiti dug their own hole. They overpopulated themselves and elected corrupt leadership. Now we have to save them? Please, they need to be depopulated before they can even consider saving themselves. Funny how their side of their island is a toilet while the other half (Dominico) is a garden paradise. People better get a clue that leaders like Obama will create a situation like Haiti is going through. Clinton Deregulating the Federal Reserve was a HUGE mistake. Look at what we got now.

So far the only thing Obama has done for us is hand us embarrassment and failure. I would like to know one thing he has done that has had any REAL effect on the situation we are facing. His whole "loan modification program" is a tremendous joke. It does not help enough people who the banks suckered but then again the REAL problem in this mess is the American people in general. Dangle a carrot on a string in front of them and we run like hell after it.

And you wonder why people are so negative? Because the only way we will see real change so far is in a BLOODY and several VIOLENT revolution akin to Russia circa 1917. If it happens it will be far bloodier than the Civil War was. Congress had better wake up because Anti-Government sentiment is growing. The last thing wee need is some nutcase 'Patriot' group getting domestic terrorist on us. What a way to discredit what America stands for. Problem is "Due Process" does not work any more. It is too slow.

This situation in general BREEDS negativity.

Oh I almost forgot to mention Obama also appointed supreme court justices along with other name democratic leadership that spends time reinterpreting the law and not enforcing it. They make changes on the bench and interpretations they are not allowed to like Sotomayor. The supreme court has been overstepping their powers a lot lately.

I am hoping for Progress in education and healthcare in this country and believe in reform to start us down that path
