Hummm well I've been known to talk to anyone as well as hold the door open ect... to me it is always nice to say hi and have another say hi or good morning ect. Nothing better then to see another smile back at ya.......

I smile at everyone if I make eye contact. There are times I am thinking of something and I may not notice people, but I try to smile at everyone

I always say hi. If someone drives past our neighborhood, wave. It takes some by surprise but usually they smile and wave back. I'm a odd ball. Opening doors for people, talk to them on the grocery line, letting them go first. 90% respond, if they don't I leave em alone, knowing what a bad day is like or not wanting to be bothered. I'm the same way and have met some interesting people just standing in line at a checkout. A smile and a friendly little chat doesn't cost a dime and most of the time both people walk away feeling good. So why not???

I always try to smile and I have struck up many a conversation in the checkout lines too. Got some good recipes that way !

well i don't just smile and wave randomly at people; they might lock me away. however, i do make nice to those with whom i'm interacting, such as grocery clerks, bank tellers, etc.

i think i smile if i make eye contact i dunno smiles are rare.
