we have been Jayne, here 2008 was the worse on record And in 93, Des Moines flooded and we lost power and water for an entire week. The National Guard had to distribute water. People from all over the US came to our aid...it was awful. And to top that off, in March we had a major ice storm that year that knocked down all of the power lines and half the trees shutting the city down for a week then too. |
