 manswers says it's a myth but the yellow/beige caulk is definitely the smallest tube... In that case, they have a caulk enhancer! It thickens the caulk and helps it harden faster.  (in high altitudes of course)  I've seen one of those, the little blue thingy right? I thought it was a caulk holder, what do I know... You are right! The caulk holder plays an important role in keeping the caulk in place. The caulk needs guidance so it doesn't squirt all over the place! exactly, can't have precariously squirting caulks flailing around..
