You all are getting what we usually get up here in Michigan. All the storms ran a southern track this year. Thank You El Nino |

My sis lives in Pittsburgh, and she said that they got a foot and a half one night this last weekend. I guess the kids are loving it, but the oldest one wanted to go somewhere, and he's old enough, at 12, to shovel if he wants to get out. So he was shovelling.
Builds character, I say!!! |

This is the deck in the back. You can see the snow is almost up to the railing. The big pile on the left is the picnic table.

They just said on Channel 3 news that Philly has gotten 70 inches of snow this winter. Its an all time record and more than Buffalo, NY has gotten this winter so far.

Bad enough we have all this snow today and my work was closed so along with digging out my steps, pavement and car my IT dept set my home PC to connect with the work one so I could still get my work done. It took ALL day because the connection is even slow then the old dial-up so something that usually takes about 2-3 hours took over 8 hours. We are supposed to get more snow on Monday, YEAH!!!

After we had two major snowstorms leaving over 20 inchs each time in the past week here in Philly, they are calling for......4-8 inchs more on Monday. I don't think I will see the blacktop again until April.

Just an FYI from the AP
Forget red and blue , color America white. There was snow on the ground in 49 states Friday. Hawaii was the holdout. It was the United States of Snow, thanks to an unusual combination of weather patterns that dusted the U.S., including the skyscrapers of Dallas, the peach trees of Atlanta and the Florida Panhandle, where hurricanes are more common than snowflakes. More than two-thirds of the nation's land mass had snow on the ground when the day dawned, and then it snowed ever so slightly in Florida to make it 49 states out of 50. |

Where's Denver's snow? Oh, I forgot, we don't get it until March. Or at least that's what the "experts" say.

I'm up here in northern Vermont and we usually get buried all winter. Not this year. We had that one huge storm (which I missed spending a month in Vegas! )but other than that, we're barely getting any in the valleys. Mountains are cranking it out because they make it, it's cold enough, but it's definitely been an odd winter for us without much snowfall! Not that I'm complaining! Bring on spring already.
