Got to say that a) no matter WHERE you go when women are involved usually there will be some degree of drama. b) sometimes we are attracted to the things we don't want and conversely sometimes attract the same said things we don't want.

Women are different from men and both sides need to get a grip on this fact. You are going to have a tough time finding a 100% drama free anyone and women thrive on it sometimes but I have met Drama Kings (not all of them are swishy). Women want answers we are sometimes not capable of answering beyond a short grunt. That is how men are wired.
