Not to many compliments or anything, like oh your are just so beautiful...blah blah blah.

I usually warm up as I date someone longer and become very romantic and give more compliments after we have become more intimate (not necessarily sex but intimate).

I was just wondering... someone just brought it up that they'd "woo" me if they were in the same country... And it made me think the art of wooing has been lost by most... I figure you for the "wooing" type if you like someone.. But then what you said reminded me that the internet has probably helped to ruin the art of "wooing"....

It has... Part of why I don't date.. I mean I don't want anyone wasting their time... Not saying one should woo right away but once they decide they want to date well I think the art of romance should kick in on both sides...

When I lived with my ex ex in FTL, Brian,I used to leave little notes in his lunch after I made it for him.

He used to email me smileys and cool pics online too.


For me, its the little things you do to make the other smile and think of you.

I really dont do to much other than just be myself for the first few dates...still trying to see If I really want to see them again. But once I make up my mind, watch out.

First date is casual, where two can talk...say maybe a cupcake and cup of coffee. Talk for as long as possible, a hug and set a date for the next date if all went well.

I dont even try to kiss on the first date, sometimes it happens but I go in with only a hug at the end in mind.

Now the second date is where I will kiss if its gone well also...thats when I want to know. Can you do it good enough.

I will find something special to do that is different but not over the top on the first date...like the godiva chocolate truffles or something to let them know I went out of my way.

yes the little things mean the most...its about caring not about saying oh, baby you are hot or what ever. Its a simple gesture.

I am such a sucker for that kinda stuff....
