Topic: Why commit to someone online?

What if you have met but started online? That is my case! We visit every two weeks and he is relocating by summer to California. We met last March on Mingle as online friends; then in person and now it's on like Donkey Kong. Everyone is different. Knowing you aren't that type of person is a good thing, right? Your "best" situation will appear.

oh yea and peccy...as big of a diamond as she wants when the time comes! already given her one, guess I might get her another in a few years! We decided not to get married for about 5-10 more years.

Worked for me for 3 1/2 yrs once.But we did live only an hr away from eachother at the time, then moved in several months later.Still great friends even though not together anymore. All depends on the people involved and how dedicated they are to trying this kinda thing out and surviving it or not. Peccy and Angel are a rare one in a million most definitely.

I am truly puzzled. How can some commit to one on a website with not even meeting them, and better yet not meeting them for a few months down the road? You may miss an opportunity walk right in front of you, and better yet the online person may either ditch or not be who you thought they were... I just dont get it...maybe its me I wouldn't commit to someone who I have just been online with either. I think that would be too chancy.
