Sorry to hear about Tony, Putting an animal down sucks. Its very hard to do usually because it is the right thing to do and pets; although, they are animals are like your kids. But in death there is always birth so enjoy Maggie May and Juliedrinker

hey steve
keep your chin up
i know how it feels to have to put a pet down
we had a dog when i was little and he was 14yrs old
he had several heartattch and the last one was in front of my mom and i and she knew then he was suffering. she had my brother nlaw take him in.
for along time i blamed my mom but i knew she right
and shortly after we had put him down i would see another dog exactly like him.. like he was telling me he was still around
yea animals can as well be your spirit guides

So sorry to hear about Tony! That is always a tuff thing to do, but if they are suffering then it is probably the better compassion. I had to put down my one cat a few years ago and he(Turbo) was only 6 years old! My older cat(Pandora) of 18 years passed away four months ago of old age. She and Kodiak(the siberian husky in my profile pics) were best of friends! He still looks around the house for her! The important thing too remember is that Tony was loved while he was here! And I believe.....just as we meet our humane relations when we pass, we also reunite with all of our animal friends!

Sorry to hear about your cat..Its normal to grieve a pet, they become just like our kids to us.. Had to put my female cat down a few yrs ago. I do have another and he is sooo spoiled.. Good luck with the "girls"...flowerforyou

sorry about your loss.. well i understand how u feel somewhat.. had a 12 yr old chow all her life. she was doing weird things she never did. like chewing up all the moldings in the house, shutting herself in rooms and knocking things off the wall, pushing the reciner chair to the middle of the room.. chewing up blinds.. never never did she ever do these things before.. took her to the vet.. was diagnosed with dimensia..well this is when she thought she was at home for days on end alone.. when in fact i just had a normal work day..well i could not stay home with her all day.. and the vet said she would get to the point where she will break my windows to get outside.. though she was shutting her own self in the rooms.. was odd.. short story.. she got sick, i could not care, had appt to put her to sleep.. then my ex bf rescued her the same day, he could be with her at all times with his job.. that was cool..however even the thought of it.... then her being gone and moved states away was rough on me! espicially when she died and i could not be there.. they are both gone now the ex and her.. i hope somehow they are together..and ps.. that was 6 yrs ago and i still grieve from my dog..

Sorry for your loss Stevil... I would suggest canned moist "friskies"
because dry cat food contains high concentrations of ash that many cats can't process very well... again sorry for the pain of losing a friend... Cheers to "tony"
