Topic: Is God an Atheist | |
---|---|
According to the history in the Bible, God did say plenty. He clearly believes in his self as God and this is why , by the strictest definition of the word, he is not an Atheist. MsHarmony..the bible doesn't claim that God said that he doesn't believe in any other Gods...the bible tells you that you better not believe in them Hummmmmmmmm even I must agree with you here for is is quoted within the Bible that one is not to believe within the false Gods for he is the only true God. TxGsal....oh oh..your religion is showing..supposedly God didn't say false Gods he said Gods ...is this an acknowledgement that God was aware of other God besides himself |

The question is; Does it matter.
If God is the creator and you are his creation, the question is; Do YOU have enough letters in your alphabet or words in your vocabluary to even begin to quantify what God is? Let alone what God's thoughts/beliefs are of God's self or above God's self. |

For she said "believe within the false Gods".... False Gods would state that they were not truely Gods just imaginated Gods people thought up. They are false, not real. |

********************************* Atheists will repeatedly tell you that they are not in a religion. A religion is usually defined to include belief in a deity of some sort. Atheism is non-belief in a deity. It isn't necessarily a "belief that there is no God" (though it can be), but is "not believing either way." TxsGsal ... wouldn't God repeatedly tell you that he is not in a religion or have a belief in a deity...wouldn't God tell you that he has a belief that there is no other God but him (though it can be) ..so wouldn't this make God an Atheist Actually no it would not make him an Atheist. For what he is saying is there is no other Gods but himself. He in fact is the one and only God. Therefore he acknowledges there is a God which is him. Therefore he believes within himself. Which would not make him and Atheists for he does believe within himself. |

God speaks all the time, unfortunately alot of people don't listen. Cowboy...or perhaps there are those that don't hear voices he doesn't speak to us in words per say. That is why people have a conscence. Our conscence is God speaking to us. That is why when you're doing or about to do something wrong people have a feeling inside of them that it is wrong. That is God speaking to us. Cowboy...I was trying not to use the word...but ok...perhaps you are having "delusions" that God is talking to you here's a simple question to perhaps find out .....reveal something that you heard from God that you couldn't have heard from the talking dog next door |

TxGsal....oh oh..your religion is showing..supposedly God didn't say false Gods he said Gods ...is this an acknowledgement that God was aware of other God besides himself Actually in reality if he did say Gods and not false Gods. Then that would lead one to believe there could have been more then one God. |

again if you're going to quote something quote the whole thing and correctly or you just look stupid and it appears you're just trying to cause trouble. For she said "believe within the false Gods".... False Gods would state that they were not truely Gods just imaginated Gods people thought up. They are false, not real. Cowboy...go to Exodus 20:3 and point out where it says false Gods....it appears I know more about what's in the bible than you |

Only person that would win on this note would be the one that can read the original writings of the bible and not depending on translations. |

Cowboy...are you also claiming that what written or translated in the bible is inaccurate? ....where have your faith gone my child |

Okay big guy don't twist my words around ya know what I meant. Which was only my interpretation of the way I would take that statement.
You see no matter how the words are wrote. There can be several meanings to them. Therefore I'm not saying your wrong nor am I saying that I'm wrong for within reality we both could be right. |

Cowboy...are you also claiming that what written or translated in the bible is inaccurate? ....where have your faith gone my child No, and another thing poppped into my mind. Just like in todays world, for most people money is God for them. So that would be the same as those people in the time Jesus came to earth. The gods they were worshipping were "THEIR" gods. Does not meen they were true Gods. Cause i know money isn't truely a god but it is God to most people in this world these days. |
