Halfway through Richard Laymon's Savage, I'm enjoying it, you definitely have to suspend disbelief. But I am getting tired of Laymon's constant use of the phrase "by and by"...literally used every other page. But if you like the idea of Jack The Ripper being in the Old West, I highly recommend it.

So far the book isn't as graphic as the others I have read, though there are definitely some gory scenes.

Today was a very good day. Bunch of new books out.

Going to read How to Wash a Cat by Rebecca Hale (looks like another similar Lillian Jackson Braun Cat Who mystery type).

Grabbed The Land of Painted Caves by Jean Auel (her final book), and 9 other books at the book store.  bigsmile

Looks good, hope it doesn't disappoint.

Neuromancer by William Gibson

Excellent choice. I think his best work is the 'Bridge' trilogy, though.

As for me, I'm currently working my way through William S Burroughs' Naked Lunch.

I'm really hoping for a rainy day so I can just sit down and read it in one sitting.

I'm reading a bunch of shorter books, today is Highlander's Curse by Melissa Mayhue.
I'm reading that book now. :)
