Sometimes it's best to wait for the right person. You don't want to rush into something because of your emotions/feelings and have it be a mistake. It's good to take time to be with you and figure out what you really want and then go for it.

Then I remember what my past relationships were really like and I'm not so sure I want to go through any of that again! I've had a tendency not to learn from the multiplicity of mistakes I've made in the past. Which makes me avoid situations where a recurrence of those mistakes even becomes remotely possible! And that's OK. Because I'm probably better off being too careful, at this point. And I'll echo what Totage said about not rushing into anything.... |

I know I'm late on this discussion, but one thing I've learned is to never force the issue. Allow life to present itself and its pleasures. Often when we force the issue or go out of our way to search and make something happen, that is when people get hurt. Enjoy each moment and treasure your experiences, good luck!

Sharon100, I hope you don't take offence to this, but I sense that you are innocent and very trusting of people. I'm not saying you have to be cold and paranoid, but just be aware that perhaps some people may sense an innocence and trusting nature about you. Some people will try to exploit that when they sense it. Just becareful not to fall for those types. It's ok to be innocent and trusting, but you also have to protect yourself and keep your guard up.
