And I might add, it's always harder on the guy. Who has to ALWAYS make the first move. Women NEVER make the first move. It just never happens. |

Honestly, I pulled out the abacus and did the calculations, and my
ex-wife counts for 11 reasons all by herself. |

and if you stay single forever then you won't have other's spreading
false rumor's to your ex's |

Wow, 4 reasons? After my divorce, I took a hard look at my financial
situation. It wasn't good. But hey, it wasn't good when I was married. I have one reason. Finances! Of course, without the good Lord's help, it wouldn't be like that. I have donated more money now, in my life, to charitable causes then I ever was able to when I was married and both of us worked. Being patient, I have been able to invest, save and finally have a credit reports/scores worth bragging about. Shopping for shoes/purses isn't neccessary. I save a ton of money going without undies. What a ripoff! Tight jeans fit you in just fine! |

Hmmm, Reasons to stay. Good thread. (1) A good friend told me about a
year ago that I fall in and out of love too easy. I will be damn if she wasn't right. (2) A nurse asked me the other day why wasn't I dating. She told me that I should get a good woman. I thought why I am having so much fun having friends and why would I want to jeopardize that. (3) Working with so many women I am really to find out who I am and how I fit into the scheme of things. I am finding that other coworkers are coming to the same conclusions that I am. It is so nice to come home where my life is so peaceful without all the drama. (4) I like all the attention I am getting now which I didn't have in a marriage type of relationship. I am learning how to communicate with others without having to clam up and am losing a whole lot of my shyness. I feel accepted for my own opinion and it feels really good. |

"Only 4 reasons? heck I can think ofba dozen great reasons to stay single in a few seconds." Yeah, me too... Mary, Sue, Tonya, Sheila, Tammy, Beth, Rachael, Ann, Julie, Amber, Karen, and Jen. (Just kidding. I'm not _actually_ a womanizer. Oh, and all names above were selected randomly — so nobody freak out if your name shows up. It was just the luck of the draw.) |

Whew! My name did not appear on that list... |

"Whew! My name did not appear on that list..." That is _too_ funny. I almost wrote "Sandy" instead of "Jen" at the end of the list. |
