I've often wondered why people lie in their profiles knowing that they will eventually be found out. My only guess is that they hope that someone will fall in love with them online and then overlook whatever they believe this "flaw" is about themselves. What they fail to realize is that the person is only going to focus on the fact that they've been deceived and leave based on that fact.

I got 3 different ages from this guy recently in a span of 4 months. Each time he was older. Still not sure how old he is (45, 50, 52?) .

I have noticed the same at this site, that lots of men lie about their age. This is a deception right from the start and tells me a lot about men It tells me that they are very insecure men.

I like a man who has a great personality and charackter. A man who can express emotions and his love for me. A man who I can lean on in times of need and who will support me through thick and thin, exactly what I would do for him!I am looking for a man not a boy or son.

So dear men, stop lying about your age. Most of the women on this site, I presume, are looking for Love and not for a toy boy.

I notice that a lot on some women's profiles, I often thought about emailing them & saying " who do you think you're schittin"laugh

Perhaps a little insecurity, but to me more so immaturity. It's far easier to play games like this on dating sites.
When I think of "older is wiser" I think of Elders...you know someone in their 70's plus for I know many 50 - 60 year olds that have far more game than some 20 years olds.

Yes the truth always comes out, course some lies don't get exposed for decades.

Eh liars are liars, and any lie should be a deal breaker. It's far easier to ask "Can we not talk about this right now?" But in the matter of age, there is only one answer,.. the correct answer.

I haven't experienced that so far as I know.. If I don't know then they didn't even get to the conversation point... I've seen it in profiles though.. something like "I'm really xx even though my profile says xx, I don't know how to fix it".. laugh

Actually never understood what the big deal is on the age with either sex..... Sshshs most the men that I have seen that are youngee then I'm most the time look to me to be older then they say and the ones my age look 10 years older.

I have never ran into those that lie about their age just their height or don't really look like their picture face to face. But the picture thing is some thing that just happens at times.
