In a book I read (and love) the author talks about it raining spiders. That's scary as hell to me, but also quite amazing to think about.

I think I'd have a panic attack and die if it ever rained spiders. Even the tiny ones scare the hell out of me.

I knew a guy that got bit by a brown recluse. They don't get much bigger than fifty cent pieces.
A bite from them, though, causes your body to go into "local necrosis." In other words... your body starts rotting while you're alive where you got bit, and the only thing they can do is take that piece of you off of you. |

Sounds like a wicked horror novel. There was a big a$$ spider dangling from it's web over my pillow last week. I tried to kill it, never did catch the damned thing. No idea how I sleep knowing it's probably still lurking under my bed. Waiting......

Or at least don't come here without a big bottle of bug killer. It happened to me and it's not pretty. You have to take antibiotics and watch this big hole gauge into your body. Very painful too. |
