Minutes tick by slowly,
Hours drag on.
It feels like I'm waiting forever,
From dusk til dawn.

I knew it wouldn't last,
Though we really did try.
Real life gets in the way,
So many things get pushed aside.

It's a busy time of year,
People want to be with family & friends.
The distance doesn't help much either,
I don't want this to be the end.

You were a cute stranger,
An intimidating one at best.
But you found my craziness interesting,
Who would have guessed?

Yep, but it makes for excellent poetry material. I can only write poems when I'm sad, go figure....

Nothing really, watching the ball drop, being glad 2009 is over. How about you?

I think I'm hanging out with my parents. I'm such an exciting person, haha.

Well, I spent last New Year's Eve with a couple of women who ended up being back-stabbing b!tches, so you're wise to spend it with your parents.

I'd rather spend it with friends. :/ oh well.

Oh definitely, I had a lot of fun with them, when I still thought they were my friends. People change though, it sucks, but it's true. I hope you have a great New Year's Eve anyway.
