I have this really neat gadget called a remote..GREATEST thing!!!!If I dont like whats on I just turn the channel..... Me too! I boycotted all FOX programming years ago. I dont mind some showes like the Simpsons and Malcom in the middle. I sometimes watch them or did enjoy it when the kids watched it, but Fox news is propoganda. Every thing political is slanted. Its subtle at best obviouse at its worst.

BAM, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity & Combs, or Glenn Beck comes on. Then the direct and Subliminal messaging starts. If the kids are awake they get started young. The younger the better.

My daughter was in grade school when Iraq 2 broke out she asked me this while watching tv "dad if Bin Laden was behind 911 why are we at war with Iraq?" I honestly told her that I didnt realy know and it makes no sence to me. We can speculate it was for oil or control of it or just to put a big footprint in that most valuable area. I am sure it was geo strategic but thats hard to explain to a fifth grader.

During and before the illegal invasion of Iraq, Rummy and the current admin gave orders, talking points, to "Expert" war commentators. They were all over the dial, not just FOX, but esp FOX. Their only purpose was to spread propaganda for Rummy and the Admin. I think it's important to recognize FOX as a propaganda tool, but we should not stop with that. We should look at who they represent and who influenced the FCC to waive American law and allow Murdoch to broadcast here. Esp, since his history before then was already tainted. Who decided it was in the public's best interests to allow it, and what was their motive?

During and before the illegal invasion of Iraq, Rummy and the current admin gave orders, talking points, to "Expert" war commentators. They were all over the dial, not just FOX. Their only purpose was to spread propaganda for Rummy and the Admin. I think it's important to recognize FOX as a propaganda tool, but we should not stop with that. We should look at who they represent and who influenced the FCC to waive American law and allow Murdoch to broadcast here. Esp, since his history before then was already tainted. Who decided it was in the public's best interests to allow it, and what was their motive? The Huffington post did a great article on these "experts" it was pure propaganda plain and simple. Our news is scripted by people no better than Goebels or the people who edited the soviet news paper Pravda. At least the soviets knew they were being manipulated most americans do not.

What realy makes me laugh are those lower to middle class white folks who think they are republican, the type Fox news preys on. Probably make less than 40,000 a year cant afford to send their kids to collage and think the government is their enemy and in fact the government is the only thing that can and will help them when the chips are down.

Fox is pursuing its strategy in public, warning that its broadcasts – including college football bowl games – could go dark Friday for subscribers of Time Warner Cable, unless the pay-TV operator gives Fox higher fees.
