You gotta just go for it. Your to a point now, where if you stay friends, and you see him with another girl, it will hurt you correct?

So saying something now is really the best choice.

Either way...if hes says no, then theres a chance that the friendship may end, but in the same sense, you know it wasnt meant to be, and you can move on to find someone else. And you wont stress when you see him with someone else. And given time...you'd probably become friends again without the weird feelings.

And of course on the bright side...he could be thinking the same thing you are. SO GO FOR IT!!!

It's funny that everyone wants to avoid pain, but it really doesn't last that long. You hurt, you get over it. Or at least I do.

Here's the deal,
He's my best friend, so I set him up with my Best friend that's a girl...ummm. (before I thought I liked him of course...)
STUPIDEST thing I've ever done.
They both liked each other, but never went out, and all the time I was stuck in the middle.
For TWO YEARS, they kept begging me to, I kept reassuring the both of them that their feelings were mutual.
I told her my feelings about him, and she ignored them....*sigh*
When I had finally had enough, he decides to ask her out.
He wrote her a letter, which apparently was very sweet. (she told me...)

but she turned him down. After two years, and because some other guy had asked her out, that she had known for a month.
I didn't even find out from her, and I was the one who had to tell him. I've forgiven her since then, but our friendship is completely ruined.

Besides, if he's a true friend, he won't be mean about it. I have a guy friend who hits on me about once a month, I turn him down and we move on. I'm not cruel, and we're still friends.

Hannah, tell him. You have to because if you don`t it`ll eat you away. ESPECIALLY in that kinda middle-man situation. I`m not the best with advice, but he needs to hear it from you.

Thats a perfect example of why you shouldnt wait. If you do, some other girl may come along and take him away. Do it now while you still have the chance.

And like Calleigh said....if hes a true friend, he wont be mean about it. And the friendship maybe weird for a little bit, but again, best friends get through that kind of stuff.

He hasn't been talking to me alot recently, since I told him I quit church. His religion is VERY strict. Even thinking about dating me would get him shunned for sure...I hate that place.

Edit: actually, no. There are similar churches more strict than theirs, but this particular one tells people if they leave, they'll go to hell.
