you're right but as I keep saying, as long as there are people wanting the juicy details...the news will keep reporting it. So apparently there are enough in the country/world interested in this stuff

Finn's post made me think of something. There doesn't seem to be as much coverage with Sheen as with Tiger. Do people expect this from Sheen because of his past and it's not as news worthy?

Oh I agree that a lot of the media tends to lower IQs but then again...I can change the channel or not buy those papers. I think it goes along with drama. For the same reason some people love drama...they are into the celebrities as well....maybe?

yeah, he's been in lots of trouble before...I still think Two And A Half Men is a funny show...one of the few things I do watch. I could care less about his personal life...beautiful women, tons of money, kinda hard to feel sorry for him because he has a bad temper.

VERY true. the negative press actually seemed to work for him where Tiger is supposed to be the good guy.

I think that might be the difference in coverage.

There was a similar thread lately...I could care less who is doing who and who is wearing what designer dress. Our society has turned the celeb's into GODS, they are like royalty...so many give a chit so that's what keeps getting reported. I agree with ya JAG, I think it's silly as hell...how do we stop it?
I hardly watch TV, rarely go to a movie, maybe 2 times a year and that's just to hang with my boys. I don't buy any of the mags. I don't rent movies. I don't buy t-shirts with their face on it....
so many do I suppose.
