I have driven home in the biggest snowstorms..lol..my luck to be 'exactly' going somewhere when it hits. I have never got stuck though, but i did drive on roads where there was no one for 20 miles and the only way I knew there was a road, because the snow looked smoother than the rest of the entire field around it.
I'm more afraid if there are others on the road, actually, I'm afraid of them then myself. |

My favorite experience driving in snow: coming back from the airport, snow deep and still pounding. I'm riding with a friend, we're in the right lane on the freeway, playing it safe, going slow and smooth about 40 mph. Far behind us, is a guy in a a biig fancy car, whipping down on us at at least 55, flashing his high beams to warn that he has no patience with slow pokes. Not being egotists, we slide farther right to give him room (snow's deep enough now that even with two lanes and pull off areas, the freeway's getting tight).
He passed us at full speed. About two hundred yards in front of us, the guy lost it on a SLIGHT curve, started spinning, rammed the right guide wall (it's a sunken freeway), then the left, then the right again before slowing to a stop. It took us long enough to reach him, tooling even more slowly (now down to 35), that we could see that he wasn't hurt. Very entertaining. |

Ah come on! Didn't you at least get a laugh out of the idiot in the left lane with the hazzards on?

Eh... driving in snow, no biggie for me.
Its the nuts that can't drive in snow let alone drive in rain , or on a sunny day..all about the same. And for God sakes you wonder if walking is a option for them. |
